Dolun Student Folklore Group

The Dolan collective, operating at the Department of Folk Art Culture and Socio-Cultural Activities, is a prominent representative of Yakut culture. The ensemble carefully preserves and popularizes the rich musical and song heritage of the Sakha people, performing traditional songs, toyuk, chabyryakh and other genres of Yakut folklore.The members of the ensemble actively participate in cultural events of various levels.

1. Winner of the III degree in the V Republican Festival "Ebuge bystybat sitime" (2016);
2. Nomination of "Kaxillaeh olonkhoyuttar" in the Republican Festival of Storytellers "Munkha Olonkhoto" (2016);
3. third place in the Republican contest "Olonkho Style Battle" (2016);
4. Winner of the II degree in the VI Republican festival "Ebuge bystybat sitime" (2017);

9. Nomination of "Tuelbe olonhotun uyetiteechiler" in the Republican Festival of Storytellers "Munkha Olonkhoto" (2018);
10. Nominees of the International Festival of Ethnic Music and Crafts "World of Siberia" (2018);
11. Efremova Ayyina is a diploma winner of the All-Russian Youth Festival of Epic Performers: "Epics of the Peoples of Russia" (2018);
12. Marfa Ammosova is a diploma winner of the All-Russian Youth Festival of Epic Performers: "Epics of the Peoples of Russia" (2018).

The team has big creative plans to preserve, develop and promote the traditional culture of the Arctic peoples.
