Department of Folk Art Culture and Socio-Cultural Activities

Graduates, who are trained by the department, carry out organizational and creative activities in various institutions and organizations of culture and art, the educational system of the republic and beyond. Graduates of the department successfully work in the Arctic villages of Yakutia, Kamchatka, Krasnoyarsk, Chukotka, Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk. Talented graduates of the department work at the Ministry of Culture and Spiritual Development of the RS (Ya), the Institute for Humanitarian Studies and Problems of Indigenous Peoples of the North of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Olonkho Theater under the Ministry of Culture and Spiritual Development of the RS (Ya), the National Dance Theater of the RS (Ya) named after S.A. Zverev-Kyyl Uol, the State Theater of Indigenous Minorities Peoples of the North, Peoples' Friendship House named after A.E. Kulakovsky, the Republican College of Culture and Arts, the State Theater of the Young Spectator, the State Circus of the Republic of Sakha (Ya), the National Broadcasting Company Sakha RS (Ya), the Sosnovy Bor Recreation and Recreation Center, Sakhamedia LLC, the Gagarin Center for Culture and Contemporary Art, MBU Okruzhny the center of folk art"GO "City of Yakutsk" and many other organizations.  Also, graduates of the NKHKISKD department are heads and specialists of Municipal Departments of Culture and spiritual development, directors of ethnocultural centers of the republic, well-known creative collectives of the republic such as the Honored ensemble of the Russian Federation "Kytalyk", exemplary dance ensembles "Surprise", "Tetris", "Odun", "Sir sime5e", "Ayylgi", "Dance Evening", "Pirouette", "Premiere", etc.

• "Leadership of the ethnocultural center. The teacher - students receive theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of folk art culture for teaching in cultural and art institutions, ethnocultural centers, folk art houses, club institutions, museums, publishing houses, mass media, general education institutions and additional professional education, government, public organizations that support the development of traditional folk culture.
• «Leadership of an amateur choreographic group. The teacher", "The leadership of the choreographic team. The teacher - students receive theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of choreographic art for teaching in amateur choreographic (children's, youth, amateur) groups, in the field of additional education, in educational institutions of vocational education, higher education, ensembles of modern, ballroom and folk choreography.
• "Management of an amateur theater. The teacher - students receive professional knowledge in the field of education and culture, theater, theater functioning, and all aspects of its organization. Students receive theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of folk art culture, methods of organizing and directing amateur theater, teaching the theory and history of NHK in various types of educational institutions, conducting various forms of activities to promote folk art culture. Graduates can work in ethnocultural centers, folk art houses, studios, collectives, and educational institutions.
• «Management of the studio of cinema, photo and video creativity, «Organization and technology of film production» - students receive theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of folk art culture, the film industry. Prepares future specialists for the following types of activities: head of professional and amateur associations of film, photo, television and video creation; specialist in the technical processes of artistic activity of film, photography, television and video creation, teacher in institutions of secondary and higher professional education, in institutions of additional education.
• Staging and producing cultural and leisure programs - in the process of learning technologies and techniques of directing and screenwriting, students learn to understand the specifics of producing and directing theatrical performances and celebrations. By comprehending the stages of development of holiday directing, students improve their knowledge in this field, and can also create and successfully implement their own authorial, creative projects;
• Project management of socio-cultural activities - during the study period, students acquire knowledge and skills to apply management technologies of project management and art management, begin to master practical professional experience from the first courses of study. They study the specifics of entrepreneurial activity in the field of culture and art, as well as explore the effectiveness of working with performers and creative teams.
