- Scientific and educational cooperation - participation in exchange programs for students and internships for teachers, grant programs and international research in the field of culture and art.
- Creative cooperation - support of participation in international exhibitions, competitions and festivals.
Participation in the University of the Arctic
AGIKI has been a member of the University of the Arctic since 2003. The university actively participates in student mobility programs, such as the North to North program (North2North), and also organizes and participates in major international forums, such as the Arctic – the Territory of Dialogue.
Creative projects and international exhibitions
In 2017, AGIKI students participated in international exhibitions and competitions, such as JUNWEX-2017 in St. Petersburg, and became laureates of the IX International Decorative and Applied Arts Competition. The Wandering Scrolls of Siberia project was presented in countries such as Serbia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Belgium and Turkey.
International creative partnerships
AGIKI cooperates with universities and cultural organizations around the world. For example, a project with the Tromsø Conservatory (Norway) included a creative exchange and concerts by students of the Aar Aartyk ensemble.
Participation in festivals and competitions
AGIKI students and teachers actively participate in international festivals such as the World Youth and Student Festival in Sochi and the World Mouth Harp Festival of India.
Cooperation with universities in Japan and Norway
AGIKI cooperates with the Universities of Hokkaido (Japan) and Tromsø (Norway), participating in programs aimed at research in the Arctic and the preservation of traditional culture.
International conferences
The Institute organizes major international conferences, such as the First International Interdisciplinary Conference "Images of the Arctic", in which experts from France, Korea and Belgium are invited.
Exchange programs and mobility
AGIKI actively develops international exchange programs. In 2018, students studied at universities in France and Mongolia. As part of the exchange with the Higher School of Art of the Rhine (France), AGIKI accepted students for training.
Concluded international agreements
The Institute has signed agreements with foreign educational institutions, including the University of the Arctic, for the exchange of teachers, students and scientific projects.
